Tempest Recordings launch the 'Escape from Chaos' compilation.

Local electronic groove imprint Tempest have gone from strength to strength in recent times, achieving a global presence. After joining forces with European labels Cosmic Leaf and Unicorn, they have now scored a global distribution deal with the UK's Arabesque, giving their releases a truly international flavour.

It is therefore with supreme pleasure that they announce the release of 'Escape from Chaos', a showcase of psy dub, downtempo breaks and chilled grooves featuring a truly world class line up of artists including Red Eye Express, Psyburbia, System 7, Side Liner, Terra Nine, Emu and more.
The official Victorian launch is Saturday 20th May at Horse Bazaar 397 Lt Lonsdale Street Melbourne featuring Andrew Till (Psy Harmonics); Psyburbia (Chillosophy/Tempest); Red Eye Express (Tempest); Rip Van Hippy (Psy Harmonics/Tempest) and Arcane Trickster (Tempest).

Entry is only $5 or $15 with a copy of the CD. These artists have played literally hundreds of shows between them and have been mainstays of Australia's outdoor party and festival scene for as long as there has been a scene. Catch them in a uniquely intimate environment playing grooves that you know will move you.
