Rainbow Beach Camping Experience in September

Announcing the second annual Rainbow Beach Camping Experience!
An all outdoor adventure over the September 3 - 5 weekend.

Spring clean the beach; the focus is on landcare, the plan is to cleanup a section of the beach/camping area adjacent to and including = the party zone. We will be accompanied by a diverse soundtrack, cleaning tunes, relaxing tunes, the sound of the ocean, followed by the pleasure of partying on the beach we have just restored.

The site is located about 2hrs north of Brisbane, on wide pristine surf beach, with coloured sands and freshwater springs. An absolutely beautiful spot, with plenty of sheltered camping space on the = beach.

The site is in a National Park, Camping Registration is compulsory.
There are no facilities on the beach, you will need to bring everything including fire wood, food and water. There are some basic facilities located a few km away for showers, water, bbqs etc. Just make sure you bring everything that you need, it's a fair hike to the nearest shop.

Access to the site is strictly by 4wd only.
If you don't have one - beg, borrow, steal or hire a 4WD.
There will be no taxi service.
