CABIN FEVER
+ Q&A with ELI ROTH

Popcorn Taxi presents an advance preview of a new American horror film CABIN
FEVER, followed by an on-stage conversation and Q&A session with the highly
entertaining Director, Co-Writer and Producer of the film ELI ROTH.

Best described as a cross between EVIL DEAD 2, DELIVERANCE, and OUTBREAK,
CABIN FEVER follows a group of friends who embark on a vacation deep into
the mountains. When one of the friends contracts a virulent flesh eating
disease, the group dynamic devolves into survival of the fittest.
Based on skin-curdling tales of a real life flesh eating virus (as well as a
real-life experience by Director / Co-Writer ELI ROTH), CABIN FEVER blends
the elements of classic horror films of the 70's and 80's with modern day
medical terror.

ELI ROTH co-wrote CABIN FEVER at night while working as HOWARD STERN'S
personal alarm clock on the film PRIVATE PARTS. In 1995 ELI won a Student
Academy Award, for his short film RESTAURANT DOGS. Since he has worked with
DAVID LYNCH producing a number of Lynch-directed short films for
DAVIDLYNCH.COM, and co-written THE EXTRA for BILL MECHANIC'S PANDEMONIUM
PICTURES. He is currently in pre-production on two horror films and a horror
T.V. series, as well as a stop-motion feature called CAMP DEATH, which he
predicts will be the most "sophomoric, offensive and gratuitously violent"
animated film of all time. You can read ELI's full film bio below.

After the screening ELI ROTH joins us 'live' on-stage, for what promises to
be a highly entertaining insight into the making of CABIN FEVER. Don't miss
out!

A very special thanks to XANTHE BATES and ICON FILMS for making this program
possible. CABIN FEVER opens in cinemas nationally on October 30th 2003.

ELI ROTH - BIO

Eli Roth (Co-writer, Director, Producer) has been obsessed with horror films
ever since he dismembered his brothers in the straight-to-video epic
Splatter on the Linoleum, which he directed at age 11. Eli graduated from
NYU Film School with high honors and awards for his directing, as well as
for animation. His live action thesis film Restaurant Dogs was a winner in
the 1995 Student Academy Awards, much to the chagrin of the entire NYU
faculty, who had labeled the film "sophomoric, overtly offensive, and
gratuitously violent."

In 1999, Eli co-created "Chowdaheads," an animated series for Mandalay
Entertainment and WCW wrestling. Roth directed, produced, animated, and
co-wrote the series of shorts about Massachusetts teens for the #1 rated TNT
show "WCW Monday Nitro." In 2000 Eli co-created the stop motion animation
series "The Rotten Fruit." Eli co-founded The Snake Pit, an animation
studio in Burbank, where he directed, produced, shot, and animated the short
films, overseeing a crew of almost 20 artists. The Rotten Fruit was
critically praised in Movieline, Variety, The LA Times, and Time Magazine.
Time Magazine Digital, However, panned the show, calling it "sophomoric,
overtly offensive, and gratuitously violent"

As a producer, Eli worked very closely with filmmaker David Lynch, producing
a number of Lynch-directed short films for the director's new site,
DavidLynch.com Eli produced, photographed and acted in segments with Naomi
Watts, Laura Harring and David Lynch. Eli had previously spent six years
research a project for Lynch and composer Angelo Badalamenti that Lynch and
Badalamenti will write for Broadway for later this year.

In 2001, Eli co-wrote The Extra, for Bill Mechanic's Pandemonium Pictures, a
theatrical feature produced by and starring Golden Globe-winner Camryn
Manheim. In the fall of 2001, Eli made his feature directing and producing
debut with "Cabin Fever," which he wrote based on his personal experiences
with a flesh-eating virus that nearly ate half his face off in Iceland. Eli
recently founded Dragonfly Entertainment, a company that will produce
mainstream genre films, television, music, books, and merchandise. Eli is
currently in pre-production on two horror films and a horror television
series, as well as a stop-motion feature called "Camp Death," which he
predicts will be the most "sophomoric, offensive and gratuitously violent"
animated film of all time. He is represented by CAA and Three Arts
Management.
