Genki Music Proudly Presents
TRIBAL DISCO III
Our third installment of genre transcending, mind bending, chakra mending disco beats....
Featuring Australia's finest;
Jet More (Brainwash)
Jet More's flamboyance behind the decks have made him an icon in the underground music scene. His unique brand of nu-wave electro funk is a melding of 80s new wave, electro, acid house, funk, and techno. Jet has toured internationally playing at countless events and festivals including Burning Man and residency at Tokyo superclub Pylon, and has releases on Transient, Victor/HMV, Subsonic and Sony collaborating with
artists such as Tim Heally, Joujouka and Nick Taylor. It seems more than fitting to have the man behind Cyberdelica join us for
our third installment of Tribal Disco.
Schwa (Tribal Vision/Beef)
Schwa is currently residing in Sydney, away from his home the Czech Republic. Along with Slater, Schwa founded the Tribal Vision Record Label. Schwa is also behind a new sub-label with more of an electro tip called BEEF. Schwa's innovative and creative mixing blends genres seamlessly, combining electro sounds that flow from deeper tribal progressive through electro, breaks and trance with pop and clash elements. He rocked the dancefloor at the first Tribal Disco and we are pleased to have him join us once again.
suncontrolspecies (Iboga)
One of the most in demand artists in Australia, Drew aka SCS is undoubtably one of Australia's greatest musical talents, with releases on top labels worldwide including ZMA, Sub Machine, Starsound, Manta Recordings and Green Ant, and an upcoming album on Iboga. SCS's smooth and intricate booty shakingly brilliant tech/prog/psy trance never fails to impress audiences worldwide.
Jack Unit
Melbourne palm clubbing icons Simon Slieker(Monotremes) and Heath Myers(Semi Retired) back to back on the decks.
Andrew Haig
The man behind Nocturnal parties, the Global Eyes calendar and cds, the Future Static radio program on PBS, as well as countless other events and projects, Andrew Haig has carved his own niche at the cutting edge of electronic dance music over the past 10 years.
