For years people have been talking about the paperless office and reading about the latest developments in technology it seems the day could be getting closer. Electronic Paper is one option to replace paper and help save the environment - imagine reading the newspaper on a film-like page which can be automatically updadted as you read as if you were reading a webpage. Love your tech-toys? Then google the news sites (or check the article linked above) for "electronic paper". Kurzweil AI website is a great place to start to keep up to date with the latest nano-tech and new scientific/technology developments.

What exactly is urban art these days? And does it have the power to make a difference in these modern times? Explore cleansurface.org and it's related websites and you just might gain a better insight. The streets of Melbourne and other cities around the world are littered with street art if you look closely enough - graffiti to some, social activism to others..
The site has links to the billboard liberation front and it's advertising manifesto which encourages "the masses to use any means possible to commandeer the existing media and to alter it to their own design.". There is a wealth of articles based on culture jamming as well as examples of grafitti activism from 'shutup & shop'.

Kid Kay Ferris
NEW ALBUM - "COLOUR ME BADD"
The brand new album from Kid Kay Ferris is finally here! Colour Me Badd is eleven tracks of unashamedly synthetic retro-inspired music, from dancefloor treats and computer beats to underground bleeps and songs for lovesick geeks. Guaranteed to put a smile on your dial, Colour Me Badd is a full-length musical rampage through electro, techno, breaks, drum n bass, spaced-out 80s ambience and crunchy computer clashing cacophony.
